In 2003, Pastor Cedric Portis became the Senior Pastor of Third Presbyterian Church. As a community leader, with unique anointing he is able to lead not only the church but also lead within the community. Pastor Portis has received the Community Development Award from North County Inc. and holds a position on the Normandy Schools Collaborative Joint Executive 

Cedric is married to Varonaki for over 20 years and have a son, Cedric Jr.
